Beginning in 1995, when the Old Songs Dutch Barn was completed at the Altamont Fairgrounds, Bill Houston began recording the festival workshops held there. The acoustics and the atmosphere of the barn enhanced some wonderful performances. The audience, which changed for each workshop, participated with such enthusiasm that we were inspired to issue this CD from the 50-some workshops Bill recorded up to that time.
